Consultants Hold Public Marketing Seminar for H.R. Professionals

Stokes+HERZOG owners Chris Herzog and Sarah Stokes recently helped human resources professionals from all over Wisconsin dealing with record low unemployment numbers perfect their marketing strategies for recruiting new team members.

“Employees are the most important part of any business. And if we can help those HR directors and generalists better use marketing and advertising to attract new talent, it’s a win-win,” said co-owner Chris Herzog.

Stokes and Herzog presented ‘Tactical H.R. Marketing’ to hundreds of human resources professionals from all over the Wisconsin and Minnesota at the 2018 Human Resources Conference put on by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. The presentation helped participants understand how to manage their marketing and advertising to better recruit new team members. Because of the record low unemployment rate in Wisconsin, more and more companies need help recruiting top talent.

As television news anchors and reporters, the two covered tens of thousands of stories focusing on human resources, business and recruiting throughout their careers all over the Midwest.

“Many of these companies aren't able to hire us as full-time consultants. But if we can make time to help them and do presentations at events like the Human Resources Conference, we believe that’s a great thing for everyone who attends,” co-owner Sarah Stokes said.

Stokes and her husband Chris Herzog, who are both former WEAU television news anchors, started Stokes+HERZOG, an advertising and public relations agency in 2014. The agency assists both local and global clients with all of their corporate business consulting, advertising, public relations, and marketing needs including video production, website management, graphic design, social media management and overall marketing and advertising strategy.
