Trinity Lutheran's Food Truck Friday Featured on WEAU and WQOW

You often see food trucks offering tasty treats around the area. But Trinity Lutheran Church hosted the first annual Food Truck Friday event designed to raise money for its food pantry as seen on WEAU and WQOW.

“This is such a great event and we’re so excited to see everyone make this a huge success for our food pantry, which is one of the largest in the Eau Claire region,” said Pastor Peter Bredlau.

The ‘Food Truck Friday’ event hosted a number of trucks offering everything from New York Hot Dogs, to barbeque, panini sandwiches, summer snow frozen treats and much more.

“Our food pantry helps families all year long. And the volunteers who work there are grateful for the donations that help our congregation to continue our mission to serve in Christ’s love and to feed our friends and neighbors,” Bredlau added.

The Trinity Food Pantry served more than 7,800 families in the Chippewa Valley last year. Thank you to everyone that came out and made our first annual event so successful!
